Norman Allen Washburn Sr., 63, a retired longshoreman, of Burnside Street, Providence, died Tuesday, November 25th, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Delinda Lee (Poston) Washburn.
Born in Providence, the son of the late James E. Washburn and Cecelia (Williams) Washburn. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
Besides his wife, Norman is survived by sons, Raymond Washburn and Norman Allen Washburn Jr., both of Providence, daughters, Norma Washburn, Tonya Washburn and Ericka Washburn, all of Providence, brothers, James Washburn and Charles Washburn, both of Providence , sisters, Sharon Tucker of Providence, Barbara Washburn of East Providence, and Jacklyn Harold of Cranston, 9 grandchildren and 2 great, grandchildren.
Funeral 9am Tuesday, December 2nd, in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Cranston. Calling Hours 7-9pm Monday, also in funeral home.
