Carolyn R. Davis

Carolyn R. Davis of Cranston, Rhode Island passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 24th.

She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 10, 1963.  Carolyn was the daughter of Rev. Ted Davis Sr. and Barbara Davis.  She is a graduate of East Providence High School, class of 1982.  She was employed for several years as an operating engineer at Cardi Construction Industries.  She was an extremely caring and generous person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need.  Carolyn was fun to be around and was always the “life of the party” anywhere she went.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to live bands at Twin River Casino and relaxing at home watching her favorite television shows. 

She is survived by her beloved son, Timothy Davis; daughter-in-law Tiffany Risch; brother Ted Davis Jr.; sister Cynthia Davis; nieces LaKeisha Davis and Kayla Davis; nephews Tyrone Davis and Jayden Davis.   In addition, she was a loving “auntie” to her great nieces and nephews, and held a special place in her heart for the Pereira family.

Carolyn will surely be missed.  As she soars with the angels, she will forever remain in our hearts.
