Cheryl Ann (Delgardo) Powell

Cheryl Ann (Delgardo) Powell, 69, died unexpectedly at Charlesgate Nursing Home on Saturday, August 3, 2019. Cheryl was born July 1, 1950 to the late John N. Delgardo Sr. and Hattie M. "Dollie" (Hazard) Delgardo.

Cheryl enjoyed long brisk walks daily. You knew where to find Cheryl, in front of the television whenever the Patriots were playing, yelling and cheering them on as she was their #1 fan. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her brothers unconditionally. Cheryl was a longtime member of the Lillian Feinstein Senior Center on Chalkstone Ave.

Cheryl is survived by her two daughters, LaRyssa Delgardo of Providence and LaShonna Semedo of East Providence; two brothers, John N. Delgardo Jr. and Edward J. Delgardo, both of Providence; seven grandchildren, LaShonna-Kyrell Delgardo of Florida, Richard, Ryen, Khoury-Noel and K'Yauri Delgardo, all of Providence, Jordan Woodard of Hawaii and Jayla Semedo of East Providence; four great grandchildren, Kaliyah Austin, Jaliyah and Jamilah McKiver, all of Florida and Camilla Lopez of East Providence. Cheryl also leaves behind a host of family and friends.

Cheryl was friendly, loving, and always had a smile on her face. She will be sorely missed.
