Elizabeth Ann (Roberts) Taylor

Betty Ann Taylor went home to the Lord on October 8, 2018, she was born on December 9, 1939 in Kings Mountain, North Carolina to the late Philip Roberts and Brightie (Sowell) Roberts. One of seventeen siblings, Betty found her greatest happiness through the Lord and through the Gospel. She was rarely seen without her Bible. She was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Ellen Roberts, Philip (Bubba) Roberts, Matthew Roberts, and Gwen Roberts.

At the tender age of 15, she moved to Providence to start a new life. Soon after, she was married and raising three beautiful children. She taught her children the importance of living simply and trusting in the Lord for all of life's woes. While living in Providence, Betty loved walking throughout the busy streets. She was a beautiful and genuine soul. She was humorous and loveable. Even through her hardest moments in life, she lived her life knowing she only needed prayer, her family and her friends.

Betty Ann's legacy radiates through the memories of her loving children Trenda Michele Taylor of West Warwick, Terrence Taylor of Australia and Sonia Marie Taylor of Providence. She is also survived by siblings, Robert Mask, James, Mary, David, Robert, Carolyn, Lillie, John Daniel, Myra, Linda, Regina, Issac. She was a loving grandmother to five; Charles Robinson, Dominic Taylor, Zada Harrell, Elijah Harrell and Zaria Harrell. As well as a great-grandmother to two; Jamiere Morris and Saint Harrell. 

Betty Ann was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend who will be forever loved and dearly missed by all who were privileged to know her, she will remain in everyone's hearts forever.
