Philip F. Robinson

Philip F. Robinson, of Sherwood Street, Providence, died Friday, July 14th, at Hopkins Manor Ltd.  He was the husband of Minerva (Crayton) Robinson.

Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, he was the son of the late William Swen Robinson and Mary G. (Manneh) Robinson.  He was a resident of the city for 20 years.

Philip served as the sports director for the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Monrovia, Liberia.

Besides his wife, he is survived by son, Rev. Richard M. Guwueo, daughters, Philomena Robinson and Jacqueline Philips (Dwight), and Judy Cole of Australia, sister, Hannah bush of Upper Marlboro, MD, and 10 grandchildren.  He was the father of the late Robert Wayne Brock, and the brother of the late Jugbe Robinson.
