Ralph A. Heroux Jr., 89, died Monday, August 27, at Rhode Island Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born January 15, 1929 to the late Bertha and Ralph Heroux, Sr. Raised in Attleboro, MA, he was one of five children. Ralph made a career building tools, he was one of the last industrialists who worked in the original machinery shops of Rhode Island before automation and corporate machinery.
Ralph was the devoted husband to Maria V. Heroux, together they had three children; Timothy J. Heroux, Mark L. Heroux and Linda D. Gildersleeve all of Massachusetts. He was a loving and supportive father. Aside from his wife and children, he is survived by his brothers, Ronald E. Heroux of Seekonk and Russell A. Heroux of Attleboro; sisters, Phillis A. Morgan of California and Norma J. McDuff of South Carolina. Ralph was a resident of Rhode Island for 34 years.
