Roberta A. Lowell, 76, died on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the Linn Health and Rehabilitation Center in East Providence. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Lelia Brennan. Roberta was predeceased by her brother, Robert Brennan.
Roberta was known as an introvert, often quietly watching the room. When she was with her close friends and family, she was known as a storyteller, often making those she loved laugh until they cried. She frequently threw witty tongue-in-cheek comments to her best friend, Barbara Goode. Her quiet demeanor was welcoming to those she served as a Medical Aide, she provided both serenity and laughter to the women in the office. She served in Planned Parenthood for over 12 years, never passing judgment or malice to anyone she encountered there.
Roberta was a mother to three loving children, Kelly Suero, Kerrion Lowell and Shannon Hinsor all of Providence. She loved cooking for her family and eventually passed the gift of cuisine to each of her children. Roberta's memory is also survived by her sisters, Lori Brennan-Almeida of Riverside, Carolyn Norback and Patricia Comeau, both of NH; as well as ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
