Willie Bernard West

Willie was the 7th child born on February 6, 1961 in Homer, LA to the late Mr. Dave West Jr. and Mrs. Remasie Mitchell West.

He was united in holy matrimony to Shonda Harrison on July 3, 2008.

Willie departed this earthly life on July 23, 2019. Loved ones who preceded him in death include: his parents, Dave and Remasie West; one brother- David Lee West.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Shonda Harrison West; three daughters, Dominique D. Harrison, Essence L. Harrison, and Alexandria S. Harrison all of Providence, RI; two sons- Ryan Spinner (Nikki) of New Bedford, Massachusetts and Derrick Shine of Shreveport, LA.; seven grandchildren- Mystique Spinner, Lanyia Spinner, Jarell Spinner, Antasia Rhodes, Alyssa Shine, Elena Shine, and Bobby Shine; seven sisters- Jeanette Husband (David) of Minden, LA; Sandra Stewart (Ira) of Bossier City, LA; Alice Moore (John) of Providence, RI; Bobbie Ann Page (R.B.) of Minden LA; Earline Furlow (Kenneth) of Bossier City, LA; Maxine Harris (Cleo) of Georgetown, Kentucky; and Cheryl Dixon (Brodrick), of Minden, LA; one brother- Leon West (Jestina West) of Providence, RI; one uncle- Leon Mitchell and  one aunt- Minnie Smith, both of Minden, LA;  and a host of dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
