Yolanda Marie Morrison

Yolanda "LaLa" Marie Morrison, 57, of Fall River, MA, died on Monday, June 11th, at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Born August 2, 1960, the daughter of Katherine (Bliss) Peterson and the late Eugene Elderkin.

Formerly, Yolanda was a CNA for several years and showed much love to many family members and friends along her life's journey.

She was proud of her Native American heritage.  "Spotted Fawn" also loved to collect memorabilia.  She had a compassion for cooking (the best fried chicken east of Mississippi), coloring, collecting Disney movies and anything that involved her grand children as well as her entire family. Whenever she could, she would reach out to help someone.  Truly she will be missed.

Besides her mother, LaLA is survived by son, David Morrison, companion, Grace Hodge, siblings, Donald Morrison, Mary Morrison, Carla Peterson, Marta Peterson, Heather Peterson, and Mae Peterson, and grandchildren, Khadeejah, Jaelynn, Brianna, Davianna, Alexis, Aaliyah, Elijah and Yadiel, which she loved dearly.
