Arthur Lee (Butch) Chapman Jr.

Arthur Lee Chapman Jr., a retired security officer, of Cromwell Street, Providence, died Monday, June 11th, at home.  He was the husband of Miriam L. Lewis.

Born in Catskill, NY, he was the son of the late Arthur Lee Chapman Sr. and Anna A. (Walker) Chapman. He was an U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was also an avid lover of cats.

Besides his wife, he is survived by daughter, Astria J. Chapman of Warwick, brother, Franc Chapman of Norfolk, VA, and sisters, Susan (Eugene) Heath of Catskill, NY and Katherine Chapman of West Coxsackie, NY. He leaves to mourn a host a nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
