On June 7, 2022, Barbara went to be with the Lord.

She was the oldest member of Olney St Baptist Church in Providence. She was born on January 25, 1927, in Providence RI and attended providence public schools. She was a member of Order Eastern Star, Prince Hall Affiliated of RI. She was a Daughter of Isis Constatine Temple No 8.

She is survived by four children, Sandra Ashley, Rhonda Smith and Jean Smith all of Providence RI and Leonard Smith of Radcliff Kentucky. She leaves grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by granddaughters, Rhonda Ashley and Sonja Johnson. Preceded in death by siblings, the late Allen Lewis, Russell Lewis, Anna Harper,

Doris Greene, Charity Thomas and Jean Gibb.

She will always be loved and missed and forever in our hearts.
