Edward Joseph Barnes

It is with great sadness that I share the passing of my father Edward J. Barnes on Thursday, July 18th, 2024. He was surrounded by laughter and love from his immediate family during his final moments.

He is survived by his only daughter; Tsey-Haye johnson and son in law Jon Michael; his siblings Cheryl  and Theodore; his two granddaughters Justice (Denzell) and Kai; his beloved great grandchildren Shai Ellen and Diesel James. He also leaves behind to mourn him, his nieces whom he adored  along with his nephews.  As well as a host of lifelong close friends. 

He is preceded in death by his father Theodore Barnes Sr. and his mother Josephine Barnes.

My father was loved by many and will be forever remembered and missed. His request was there by no services, but that his ashes be spread over the Mississippi River by his son in law!

We love you forever!
