Emma Francis (Douglas) Threats

Emma F. Threats, 88 of Gallatin Street, died Monday, August 7th, at Berkshire Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Eddie L. Threats. Emma was the daughter of the late Jack Douglas and Alice Douglas. Emma worked at MHRH for the state of Rhode Island for many years. Emma was a foster parent for over 40 years. She housed many children through the DCYF system of Rhode Island.

Emma has survived her sons, Hurtis Mitchner (Shirley Mitchner) of Warwick, John Mitchner (Viola Mitchner) of Georgia, Willie "Mibit" Threats, Eddie Threats Jr., Kenneth Threats of Providence, Thomas Threats (Debbie Henault ) of Warwick, Vincent Threats (Pamela Threats) of Oxnard, CA, Andre ”Dre” Isom Threats of Providence and one daughter Carrie “Lou” Threats of Providence. Emma enjoyed time with her 40 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Candy Rembrandt, Laura Baldwin and Freddy Lee Douglas.
