While always remaining heavily active in her neighborhood, organizing fundraisers for several churches in the community. She also was an avid reader, fashion designer and spent some time drawing.

In 1984, Glenda accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior and over time, she developed an intimate relationship with God and would consistently give God praise for All He has done for her and brought her through. She and her family became members of Holy Cross C.O.G.I.C under the leadership of Bishop Robert E. Farrell where she served as president of pastors’ aide, director of the children’s choir, president of Young People Willing Workers (YPWW), Sunday School Teacher, in addition to church photographer. Along with being a member at Holy Cross, she attended Whole Armor international Church in Lowell, MA under the leadership of Prophet Anthony L. Triplett where she served as chairman of pastors’ aide for ten years until her health began to decline in 2017.  At which point, she frequented Shiloh Gospel Temple Church under the leadership of Apostle Eric and Nancy Perry in Providence, RI.

She enjoyed being active in her community and church, but her greatest love was being a wife, a mother and grandmother to her beloved family.

Our Angel has certainly gained her wings.  I know the heavenly choir was excited to see her enter in.  She is no longer here with us in body, but her spirit will be with all of us forever.

No more pain, no more sorrow, that’s all we’ve ever wanted for you, Mom. We love you, until we meet again, kiss everyone for us.
