Iona Mae Marshall

Iona Marshall, 75, of Providence died at Rhode Island Hospital on Friday, June 15. Born in Providence to the late Rother and Florence Spells, she was the loving wife of the late Clifford Marshall. 

Iona gave every piece of her heart to her two daughters, Priscilla Marshall of Providence and the late Debra Marshall. She was blessed with three grandchildren who soon filled her heart and home with nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three great-great-grandchildren. Iona spent her time knitting, reading books like the Bible and letting the love of her God flow through her with Gospel Music. She was known as a giver, she gave to family and strangers alike, as she believed everyone was family, for we are all God's children. Iona was hardly seen without a warm smile and a plate of snacks for everyone. 

Iona leaves a hoard of family and friends who will cherish her memory. She was a blessing to those around her and those who knew her are truly blessed to have had her in their lives.
