Jacqueline White Obituary

Ms. Jacqueline Virginia White was born December 8th, 1951, at Mount Vernon Hospital, in Mount Vernon New York; to her loving parents Lois Cox and the late Thomas Cox. She attended the New York Public School System being educated in Mount Vernon and Bronx NY where she received her High School Diploma. On September 28th, 1975, she gave birth to her only child, Carla Brown a beautiful, lively, baby girl with fluffy Cheeks. Later meeting Author Burrells and on September 10, 1977, they were joined in Holy Matrimony and then shortly after relocating to providence RI.

After relocating Jacqueline continued her education receiving several degrees such as a bachelor’s degree in mechanical drafting, and an associate’s degree in business administration along with many other certifications. Jacqueline was a hard worker sometimes working two or three jobs to maintain her family. She worked at Brown and Sharpe, Fleet Bank, Brown University and in the later part of her life she worked at Sstarbirth for 23 years and then taking on a second job at Miriam Hospital and worked both jobs for several years before her passing.

Jacqueline endured many test and trials that she utilized to better her life and the life of others. Rising above her trials she met many people and also helped in many circles such as the NA Halls as a secretary and a residential drug rehabilitation program as a case manager( just to name a couple). Jacqueline loved God and gave her life to God and served Him with all her heart. She was a faithful member of church on the Rock Kingdom Cathedral and Flowing Oil Kingdom Assemblies Int’l., where she served and continued to work hard. There she served as an Usher, Pastor’s aid member and the church mother of Church on the Rock Headquarters.

Jacqueline White leaves to mourn her mother Lois Cox of Bronx NY, her only child Pastor Carla Brown and son in-law Archbishop John Joseph of Providence RI, Five sisters Adrienne Campbell (Jerry Campbell) of Bronx NY, Joann Ash of Providence RI, Montrice Pierce of Mahopac NY, Michelle Pierce, of Bronx NY, Sandra Pierce of Bronx NY and Raymond Pierce of Pawtucket RI. One sister in-law Renee’ Pierce of Florida. Seven grandchildren Lionel E Brown III, Amanda Brown, Rashaad Brown, Shonte’ Brown, David Brown, Ariana Brown and Isaiah Dorman (Brown) all of Rhode Island, Sixteen Great-Grandchildren, one God-Daughter Quanasia McAlpine of Providence RI, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was proceeded in death by her father Thomas Cox, her uncle Crosby Pierce, her brother Kevin Pierce, her grandson Eric Brown and God-Mother Aunt Deloris who nick named Jacqueline BLACK JACK.
