Mark Earl Smith Sr.

Mark Earl Smith Sr. of Providence passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 10th. He was the husband of Angela Grandy Smith.

Born in Cranston, he was the son of Maxine (Smith) Lynch and the late Leslie Kelly. He was also stepson of Steven Lynch.

He was a dedicated cook for Chili’s Grill and Bar for 20+ years.

Besides his wife, mother and step-father, he is survived by children, Cassandra, Mark Jr., Jason, and Dante, siblings, Kelly, Donnell, Leslie, Bobby and Tina, grandchildren, Ziiona, Juke, Mateo, Gotti, Naya, Jason Jr., and Baby Kasuis.

At this time we would love for all to remember Mark as a loving, generous, funny, hard-working, family man we love and called “Big Poppa”.
