Moeut Meas, lovingly known as Moe or Mop, unexpectedly passed away on his Birthday 1/1/2022 at his home by his wife's side. Born on January 1st, 1977 in his country of Cambodia to his parents Moeuy and Ream Meas. He came here at the age of 5 and has lived in Providence until his passing.
Besides his parents, Moe is survived by his loving wife of many years, Angelique Meas, his step daughter, Dominique Pope, and grandchildren, Melody Perez and Jayden Viau. He also leaves behind 4 brothers, Sitha Meas, Sophan Meas, Sophon Meas, and Moeun Meas, and 2 sisters, Mony Meas and Samantha Norm. He also Leaves behind 11 nieces and nephews and 1 great niece and 1 great nephew. Plus a host of other family and friends.
Moe was known for being hard working, being a baker at Dunkin Donuts for 17 years and then his current position at International Insignia as a machine operator. He was known for his infectious smile, calm demeanor, one of the best cooks and he shared that love of cooking with his wife in the kitchen and on the grill. He was funny and always told jokes and played pranks on his friends with his far fetched stories he made everyone laugh when he was around. His dedication to his family was unbelievable and would do anything to make sure everyone was taken care of. He and his wife loved to travel and take even the smallest trips just to get away and made the best of everyday. His passion was his grandchildren especially Melody. She was his heart and soul and they had a bond like no other. He hardly ever complained and was humble for everything. His love, presence and being one of the greatest people you will ever meet will be truly missed by all.
