Sybil Francis

Sybil Francis, affectionately known as “Mother” peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at the age of 88 surrounded by her children. Born in Trinidad & Tobago, she was the daughter of the late Adrianna Pitt and Hubert Francis on May 29, 1935.

Sybil was selfless and loved taking care of others. She was always ready to help anyone in need. She was a faithful communicant member at Providence Assembly of God and Victory Assembly of God. Sybil was an excellent cook who loved preparing meals for friends, family and outsiders.

Sybil is survived by her children Wayne Francis and his wife Mary Ellen, Ash Francis and his wife Bunmi, Taran Francis and his wife Maria, Gary Francis and the late James Francis. She had 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Siblings include Emery Francis, late Jenny Pitt, Patsy Ashby, Carol Pitt, Jessie Beyne, Sheena Pitt, and Bert Pitt.
