Dr. Yvonne Heredia was born & raised in Providence, RI. The daughter of Richard and Naomi (Poston) Brooks.
She is profoundly missed by her loving husband Jose Heredia and her eight children Elan Brooks, Darshay Watson, Charles Jr. Freeman, Xaiver Brooks, Yojaida Heredia, Yaneri Heredia, Emmanuel Heredia & Zion Heredia.
She started her career in nursing with a bachelors degree from Rhode Island College, went on to get her Masters degree from University of Rhode Island and a Doctorate in Public Health from Walden University.
Yvonne loved God, community & family. She was a champion of kindness and touched many. In honor of her love for life and color, we will be wearing pink, purple, white, and silver.
