To the family of the late Cora Smart..My heart is heavy to have just learned of Cora's passing..I am so blessed to have had the honor of knowing Cora! Like Cora, my career is in Property Management and we met many many years ago...as years passed we would continue to reach out to check on each other..such a sweet spirit resting in God's heavenly home..my deepest sympathy to Cora's family..she was truly a proud mom and grandma..tears of love..rest in peace!

Our hearts are so very heavy as we are just learning of the death of our Sister, Cora. She was of great assistance to us . Cora was a consummate professional whose Godliness and Friendliness always shone through.

I met Cora 7 years ago at Mount Vernon Square, she always had a kind words for me. She'd always encourage me to step out of my comfort zone and become a leasing consultant, when I did she was very happy for me. Cora spent time with me in my new role as a leasing consultant, she would always say, "Venessa, you need to be at an "A" property and my response would be "really", Cora, "yea girl, you got it". She and I ran into each other just a week prior, and again she was encouraging me and giving me tips on how to sale . . . with tears. I will truly miss seeing her beautiful smile. "A TRUE LEASING LEGEND"

Cora, you were on my mind last week in the month of December 2017. I was shocked to find out after going to Facebook when I did a friend request it cancel. I decided to just go online and see if there was an obituary it was a beautiful picture. I was so saddened to find out that you had left us but God Knows Best. You were such a beautiful person inside and out. God bless you.. to her beautiful ladies you all had such a beautiful mother and she will alwas be in y'alls memory. Please know that your mother loves you both dearly, you were her world, God first and then her two beautiful daughters. Kimmy, I know she went extra miles for you because she knew you were in of her help and she knew that you wanted to be somebody in life so she moved to Georgia to spend time with you to see you through your educational years. Be the great women of God that she raised you all to be in loving memory of my friend Cora, Sister Rose from Alex, VA
