My sincerest and deepest condolences to Elizabeth's husband, children, family and friends.
I met Elizabeth in 2011 at Chaplain Basic Training in Ft Jackson. She was a real good sister, solid woman of God and just a great loving helper. She was my Battle and with her Army expertise she helped me often in adjusting to army life.
She kept it real and we had occasion to keep in touch as I remember celebrating with her last year when she shared about her happy family additions and expansions
Elizabeth will be greatly missed in ministry and friendship. My prayers are with your family and may God comfort you during these times

Gone too soon Captain Buckner, I remembered the discussion we had during October 2016 drill in your office about life in Jesus Christ. I remember we both quoted "I will not die but live to declare the works of God in the land of the living." Psalm 118:17. You fought a great battle, but our God works in a mysterious way, He only knows tomorrow, when He calls us home no one can change it. You will be miss, it was an honor to know and work with you. May God continue to comfort the family you left behind. Till will meet again, continue to rest in the Lord. God loves.

Godmommy you have been such an important part of your godson Shmelly's life. We could never thank you for all you've done, all the times you prayed for him.
