George Henry Briggs Jr.

George Henry Briggs Jr., of Goddard Street, Providence, died Sunday, February 26th, at home.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late George Henry Briggs and Melahi Wynona (Johnson) Briggs of Providence.  He was a lifelong resident of the city.

Besides his mother, George is survived my brothers, Samuel Briggs, Joshua Briggs, Jacob Briggs, Joseph Briggs, Jonathan Briggs, Israel Briggs, Simeon Briggs and Gary Adams, all of Providence, and sisters, Tuwanda Harris, Dianthia Costa, Ruth Briggs, Melahi Briggs II, Rachel Briggs, Rebecca Briggs and Rene Adams, all of Providence, and Anntoinette Singleton of Woonsocket.
