To Geneva and family,
"Well done good and faithful servant!" There was always an air of excitement when Deacon Sherman was around. Deacon Sherman's love of people and love of God never failed to filled the atmosphere. He will be missed. Praises to God for the testimony he lived and the legacy of his children and family. May God keep and comfort your hearts during this temporary time of loss; knowing that you will have eternity together in Heaven. "Well done Good and faithful servant!"

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Deacon Sherman. Reading his obituary brought back so many memories of going by Dunkin Donuts as a youth in the early morning and getting hot out of the oven donuts. But it is Deacon Sherman's smile, warm personality, and his exuberant praise and worship that I remember most. I pray that God will comfort the family during this time of loss, knowing that our brother is home and we will meet him again.

My deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Joseph Sherman. I can’t imagine what you are going through at this moment. The pain and sorrow of losing a loved one may feel unbearable. Even though I don’t know you personally, I would like to send a comforting message of hope for the future based on the words of the prophet Isaiah who under inspiration wrote: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. Isaiah 25:8. May the hope of living forever in a Paradise earth where death will be no more give you the strength that you need during this difficult time.
