Obituary
Robert "GeGe" Whitaker, of Ellery Street, Providence, died Friday, December 3rd, at HopeHospice Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Tanisha (Mack) Whitaker.
Born in Suffolk, VA, he was the son of the late Robert Whitaker and Pastor Helen Tate.
He was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Holiness Church and anointed guitar player of the church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by step son, Rashaad Hill, brothers, Rufus Pittman and Stanley Whitaker, sisters, Helen Artis, Pastor Linda Whitaker and Hattie Whitaker, and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends. He was the brother of the late Constance Whitaker.
